Aspiring Cloud Engineer
2026
Student at NKUA's Digital Industry Technologies dept. Building cloud-native systems, automating infrastructure, and shipping secure pipelines on AWS.
I'm a Digital Industry Technologies student at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. My work lives at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, security automation, and developer tooling.
I'm drawn to systems that are fast, auditable, and resilient — the kind of architecture that scales without surprises. My background spans languages and tools I've worked with through university coursework and personal projects — including C, C++, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Bash — with a growing focus on AWS and network security as I build toward cloud engineering.
Personal portfolio deployed on AWS using a fully serverless architecture. The frontend is hosted on S3 and distributed globally via CloudFront, with a custom domain (www.aggeliki.dev), HTTPS via SSL/TLS, and edge caching for low-latency delivery worldwide. Dynamic functionality is handled by a serverless visitor counter built with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB — real-time data within a static site. Demonstrates end-to-end cloud deployment: DNS resolution, CDN configuration, serverless compute, and secure web hosting.
Bash-based security misconfiguration scanner for AWS environments. Detects open S3 buckets, permissive IAM roles, exposed security groups, and unencrypted resources.
Infrastructure-as-code setup provisioning a complete VPC architecture with public/private subnets, NAT gateway, and a hardened bastion host using Terraform and Bash automation.
End-to-end secure pipeline deploying containerized applications to AWS ECS with automated security scanning via Trivy and Checkov on every commit.
Open to internships, junior roles, and cloud engineering opportunities.
